Space Walk

My creative process usually involves sketching digitally with a 6B pencil with my iPad Pro, however this time I chose to play around with a comic tradition of sketching ink ‘non-photo blue’ pencil HB...with a great working sketch my goal was to proceed to a more painterly finish for this piece and thereby remove my underlay sketch. Upon mentioning this intention on my instagram I actually received some comments expressing how much they LIKED the blue lines. I feel they must see them as a kind of ‘kinetic’ energy! Gotta say, I like this too as the whole drive behind this creation follows my desire to create the first a few pieces that explored Blue Spheres and our cosmos.
